Why we built Manimosis

Manimosis started with a simple observation: millions of people practice manifestation with real devotion, picturing exactly who they want to become. What was missing was a way to actually hear that future, built entirely from their own words, and structured like a real meditation instead of a loop of affirmations.

How it began

Before Manimosis there was Mindmosis, and Mindmosis didn't begin as a business. It began as a dad trying to help his son.

The founder's young son was struggling with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), which made trying new foods an enormous source of anxiety. After working through feeding therapy and cognitive behavioral treatment for ARFID, progress was frustratingly slow. So he decided to try something different.

Using what the family had learned from therapy, research, and their own experience, he built a simple tool specifically for his son. The goal wasn't to replace professional care. It was to give them something they could use at home: something patient, encouraging, personalized, and available whenever they needed it.

It became part of their nightly routine. Before bed, father and son would listen together. In those quiet moments, when the pressures and distractions of the day were gone, the sessions helped him relax, visualize success, and become more comfortable with ideas and experiences that normally created anxiety. Instead of making food another source of pressure, the sessions encouraged tiny, manageable steps. Trying something new became an accomplishment to celebrate rather than a battle to win.

What started as a one-child, one-purpose experiment quickly became something more. Conversations with friends, parents, and others in the community made it clear that many people were looking for practical tools they could use at home. That realization became Mindmosis: a full engine for writing personalized guided-audio scripts and narrating them with professional pacing, pauses and soundscapes. People used it to change habits, sleep better, and find confidence. And again and again, they used it for something else too: rehearsing the life they wanted next.
